If you are looking to add some additional Disney minifigures to your collection, you might want to look at the LEGO Disney Celebration Train: 43212. The set is designed for kids aged 4 and up, and can also appeal to adult collectors, especially ones who enjoy collecting minifigures based on TV shows, movies, and cartoons.
What’s in the box?
This set includes 200 pieces that make a train, including a train engine, three train cars/floats, and a station Each bag includes at least one minifigure, making the creation of the set very fun. The instructions are picture-based, simple, and easy to read, as this is one of Lego’s 4+ sets. It also includes access to the LEGO Builder App, which offers digital rotating and zooming tools that are intended to help builders visualize their models as they put them together.
I don’t think this is the most impressive build, but I do like the minifigures included, which are Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Peter Pan, Tinker bell, Woody from Toy Story, and Moana.
Personally, I think the best minifigure in this set is Moana, as she is the only character in this set we have never seen before in minifigure form. She even includes what appears to be her Heart of Te Fiti.
I’m honestly disappointed that they included Tinker Bell in such a small set, because this may lower the value of the Tinker Bell that comes in Lego’s original Disney Castle set. This may be good news for some fans, though, who were unable to obtain the original Tinker Bell minifigure as they can now get her in this set. Speaking of which, Disney recently announced a new Disney Castle is coming soon, which has a whole bunch of exclusive Disney minifigures.
Minnie includes a cloth skirt which seems unique to her usual plastic skirts. I really liked this inclusion, though did find it difficult to keep the skirt down, as it tended to stay flat, destroying the whole skirt concept and making it seem more like a Marilyn Monroe situation. The only way I was able to keep the skirt down was to put her arms down as well.
The skirt definitely did not match that on the box’s art. If anyone knows a secret to making the skirt stay down and match the image on the box, let me know in the comments.

My Thoughts?
The set is very fun. Each float represents a different Disney theme; Peter Pan has a pirate ship, Moana has an island, Woody has a Roundup stage with a cactus. The minifigures are fun and are also very detailed and colorful, with some exclusive prints. I would say that it is a little expensive based on the 200 piece count ($39.99), though they make up for this by including six minifigures.
A small track for the train or something would have also been a fun inclusion too, but wasn’t present. I really liked, though, that there were no stickers present. The Roundup sign and the train markings were both printed pieces. I also liked the fabric sail used for the Peter Pan train float. Overall, I like the set, but I would say that it mostly excels in its inclusion and design in minfigures over its actual model.
