New Lego Commander Fox Minifigure-A look at New September Clone Wars Set!

Lego’s August just barely hit us, and we are already looking forward to September. Coming on September 1st, Lego has made another Star Wars announcement. This time, we are going to be getting a new Lego Star Wars set with 5 minifigures, including a new Commander Fox!

The set is a Coruscant Guard Gunship 75354 and includes Commander Fox, 2 Coruscant Guards, Padme Amidala, and Chancellor Palpatine. The set will include 1083 pieces and will be priced at $139.99 when it releases on the first of September.

5 New Minifigures

Looking at the minifigures, there’s a few things I noticed. First, these all appear to be new minifgiures.

The Coruscant Guards look very similar to Lego Shock Troopers from an old Coruscant Police Gunship set—however, these ones do not have the cartoonish-faces and torsos and also include more printing on some areas, such as the feet.

We have seen Palpatine in his red robe before, but this is the first time he is being given a dress-piece instead of legs.

Pamidala also looks similar to her Clone Wars minifigure made in 2012 with her senator outfit—but this new minifigure will give us this version of her without the cartoonish eyes. I think this is very cool and I hope Lego continues to release some of the 2012 minifigures without the cartoon details.

Lastly, looking at Commander Fox, he is very different from the Commander Fox minifigure we already have. This one has a fully red helmet and a whole different outfit altogether. This is a good thing, as it keeps the value of the old Commander Fox intact.

This set is somewhat similar in model to the other new gunship Lego released earlier this year. See that one here!
