Lego Brickheadz
Let’s start off with February’s main Lego theme – Lego Brickheadz! Literally half of the eight sets are Brickheadz sets—I have links to each one below! If you would like to read about these Brickheadz Lego sets individually, see here.
Our Brickheadz sets feature a new Disney character—Stitch, who I believe is a very anticipated Brickheadz addition. Joining the Marvel collection, we received two new characters—Groot (Based on the baby, potted Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy 2) and Iron Spider-Man (Based on the iron-upgraded Tom Holland Spider-Man from Spider-Man Far From Home).
Lastly, we got Knuckles the Echidna and Shadow the Hedgehog—two Sonic characters (and these ones come together in the same Lego set). This gives a total of four Sonic Brickheadz Lego characters now, as Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles “Tails” Prower already joined us last year.
I love all of these little Brickheadz characters, and if these are something you like to collect you should check them out! See the links below:
Everything Else
Other than the Brickheadz sets, we have a Lego Dune set, a Lego Icons set, and two Lego Ideas sets. All of these sets are super cool. The Lego Dune Orinthopter, an awesome, huge set based on the recent Dune movie, is the only set out of these next sets that includes any minifigures. Read about it here.
Despite the lack of figures, the other Lego sets this month are still super cool and worth checking out! We have a Royal Kingfisher set—literally a model of the named bird—and we have a red London telephone booth Lego set—another non-minifigure-scale model of, well, a telephone booth, of course! If you’d like to look into all of the details of the telephone booth, you can read about it here. The telephone box actually releases on February 4th–but if you have a Lego Insiders account, you will have early access to purchase it at LEGO.com starting on February 1st. You can learn how to join Lego Insiders here.
Lastly, we have the new Family Tree Lego set—a unique Ideas set that shows off an impressive display-piece—a tree. It’s not only meant for decoration though, as you can also hang real-life photographs from its branches! See pictures and more details about this set here.
I think all of these sets are so cool. Despite the lack of numbers, February is still a really great month giving us these awesome Lego sets! Check out the links below:
