Lego Love Gift Box 40679
The new limited edition set is called Lego Love Gift Box: 40679. It shows off a small model of an adorable Shibu Inu dog! The animal comes with a small chocolate-heart item and a small flower vase–and it comes inside a model of a pink, heart-themed chocolate box, along with an ‘I Heart You’ sign / heart balloon (the sign can be replaced with an included ‘Love’ sign). If you look at the ‘I Heart You’ sign (the heart is a shape, rather than words) than you can actually see, if you look closely, that the heart holds the appearance of a Lego brick-built heart. Look close at the image below!
The dog can either be placed inside the box, or it can be removed and set separately. It has dark-orange and white colors, with white eyebrows, a white snout, and a white belly. Looking at the pictures, you can also see that the animal has cute little round arms and legs, and ears. Also present, adding to the dog’s cuteness are pink, rosy cheeks. The set also includes an extra pair of eyes that allow you to switch the dog’s eyes out, so that it can have closed eyelids. See the pictures to see what these eyes look like! The entire set measures 2 in. / 7 cm long, 2 in. / 6 cm wide, and 4 in. / 11 cm tall.
The set is a fun little set and I think it would make a great Valentine’s day gift for any Lego fan. See the pictures! Even though the set is clearly made for the mentioned holiday, I think we shouldn’t be limiting it to Valentine’s. Though pink and decked in hearts, I believe that this set could make an excellent Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gift as well (or even birthdays!).
The set only includes 159 pieces, but still requires a purchase of $75 or more to obtain. Unfortunately, Lego’s latest GWP’s have been similarly high-priced. If you’re going to spend that much anyway though, it wouldn’t hurt to get a free prize! Simply head over to LEGO.com, add $75 to your cart, then this cute Shiba Inu will be automatically added to your Lego checkout cart!
This set will last all the way until Valentine’s day, starting February 1st, 2024, and ending on February 14th, 2024, or until supplies run out.
