This new Lego Icons set is actually a return of Lego’s original Eldorado fortress 6276 from 1989. It also appears to include the imperial trading post ship and some other parts from the 1992 set: Imperial Trading Post 6277. Take a look at those below!

Eldorado Fortress includes 8 minifigures and some small animals, including a tan monkey.
The minifigures include 6 imperial soldiers and 2 pirates. The set is very neat and features some new details that were absent in the original sets. Some parts of this set I would like to point out is the admiral’s office, the working crane, the pirate prison, the cannons, the printed fabric-sailed ship, trapdoors, and a rowboat.
There are some standout differences between this new set and the old one. For one, this new set isn’t built on a 3D molded baseplate and is instead built using Lego pieces and bricks and smaller flat baseplates. Also, this new set includes better designed minifigures with more variety in their faces. It does contain the same amount of minifigures though. Captain Redbeard is notably absent, a pirate minifigure that was included in the original Eldorado Fortress, replaced by a generic pirate. I’m okay with this absence, though, because I really like the new designs and minifigures they created.
Overall, I think this set looks super cool! Just through writing about this set, I can see so many awesome details and surprises waiting within—I just want to grab one of these sets and build it! As a long-term Lego fan, I love the combination of new-style Lego with an older Lego design.
