Family Tree Lego Set Works as a Photo Holder

Releasing on February 1st, 2024, Lego’s new Family Tree set, 21346, is looking really cool! Like the upcoming Telephone Booth, this set is a Lego Ideas set, meaning it was designed by a Lego fan before becoming a true Lego product. Read below to see the set, what it does, and all of its other details!

There is also a huge, new Treehouse set, similar in style, see it here: The Tree House is back in stock! Shop now at LEGO.com.

Family Tree 21346

The Lego set will have 1,040 pieces and will measure 7 in. / 18 cm for both the width and the length. It’s height will be 11.5 in. / 29. When it releases on February 1st, 2024, the set will cost $79.99 on LEGO.com.

The model creates a red-leaved tree built on top of a box/stand. Included are sixteen orange hanging holders that allow photos to be displayed on the tree (see the picture below). But you can also display other paper things on these holders too, just about anything your creativity will allow, such as messages, ticket stubs, and other paper mementos.

The box at the bottom of the tree opens up to reveal a storage compartment split into three sections (see the picture below). Inside are different options for seasonal foliage, and a bunch of other random objects such as four bird boxes and two bird figures, a butterfly, a toy plane, a kite, a basket, a ladder, flowers, binoculars, food elements, a magnifying glass, roller skates and a many of other items that you can use to customize and decorate the Family Tree to your personalized liking.

I like how this set works as more than just a display-piece or a toy, and that it serves a purpose to hold family photos up. I think the idea is neat, though it will probably not appeal to all Lego fans. Personally, I think this set would make an amazing gift for family members or friends, giving them a unique way to display some of their photos—I think when we get closer to these holidays, it would make a great Father’s Day or Mother’s Day gift as well. Honestly, I think it’s cool that you can use this set for really anything you can think of to use it for—you can display really anything that is paper-thin onto the tree.

What do you think about the upcoming Family Tree set? Is this something you are interested in for yourself or as a gift, or is this something you can let pass by? Please let me know what you think in the comments below!
