Recently, Lego has introduced Lego Insiders, a replacement and upgrade to Lego’s original VIP status Here, we will be teaching you how to create a Lego Insiders account—if you don’t already have one, as you may have automatically been given an Insiders account.
If you’re unfamiliar with Lego Insiders and everything it includes, please read our article here for all the information you need. The greatest perk of having an Insiders account is that you will earn points when placing orders at Lego.com. You can use these points to receive discounted purchases in the future!
Already have a Lego VIP Account?
First off, if you already previously own a Lego VIP account, you are actually already set for a Lego Insiders account. The Lego Company has already automatically transferred all Lego VIP accounts into Insiders accounts. So, head over to Lego.com, log in with your VIP account information—then you’re already set in your new Insiders account! All points and other information should have been automatically transferred, so there should be no visible differences except for the name change.
If you’ve never owned a VIP account or an Insiders account, here’s how to sign up! After you’ve done this, you will be able to start earning points from shopping at Lego.com—you can redeem these for discounts and rewards. Members also gain early access to some new Lego sets.
After signing up, you will also receive a digital card that you can download on your phone.
Signing Up for Insiders
First, you must be 18 years or older to own an account. Head over to Lego.com/Insiders. Unless you are already logged in you will see a black ‘Join Now’ button. Press this then fill in your information.
After you’ve correctly entered all of the required information, press the Yes, create account!’ button, and then—you’re an Insiders member!
Once you’ve finished, you’ll receive and email saying you’re signed up!
Alternatively, if you visit a Lego store in person, you can have a Lego representative sign you up for an Insiders account.
If you have placed orders at Lego.com days before you signed up, you can still contact them, and they can help you receive your points.
