Epic news! A HUGE Marvel Lego set – The Avengers Tower – has been announced and will be releasing shortly on November 24th, 2023! The Avengers Tower 76269 will feature 5.201 pieces and will become available on LEGO.com for $499.99 on November 24th. One of the truly amazing aspects of this set, though, is the incredible amount of minifigures! Believe it or not, but the set will feature… 31 minifigures! We’ll get back to those in a minute, however, and first we’ll look at the model itself.
Avengers Tower 76269
As what I believe to be the biggest Marvel set and tallest Avengers Tower up to date, this set’s height will reach over 35.5 in. / 90 cm tall! Width to depth, the tower is 13 in. / 34 cm by 10 in. / 25 cm. This beautiful piece of display is truly amazing and filled with tons of details from Marvel’s Infinity Saga.
Both the front wall of the tower and the roof simply pop off of the model, allowing easy viewing and access of each floor inside—which is crammed with recognizable references to the Avengers movies. Some scenes that can be recreated include Loki’s scepter investigation in the lab, Captain America vs. Himself on the glass walkway, and the Avenger’s Jet in its hangar.
Beyond just the tower, also included is an Avengers Quinjet (Way, way smaller than the recently released The Avengers Quinjet set) , a leviathan, and two chitauri chariots.
The model itself looks awesome. Beyond its many references, the tower looks well-done, detailed, and captures that same iconic look we’ve seen in the Marvel movie series.
Thirty-One Characters
Okay—wow! That’s a lot of characters to name, but here we go. Looking at the image below and going left to right, top to bottom (Like a book), we have: Loki, Four Chitauri, an Ant-Man microfig, Thor, Falcon, War Machine, Ultron, Tony Stark (Shield Agent), Two other Shield Agents, Dum-E (The robot-arm thing), Alexander Pierce , Erik Selvig, Pepper Potts, Dr. Cho, The Hulk (Big-Fig), Vision, Scarlet Witch (Wanda), The Wasp, Tony Stark, Battle-Damaged Iron Man, Iron Man, Two Captain Americas, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Nick Fury, and Wong.
All of these figures include their appropriate accessories, including a Tesseract, Mjolnir, Captain America’s Shields, magic spells, guns, and Loki’s Staff. All of the characters have new looks compared to how the Lego Avengers looked in the past, and look much more comparable to the modern Avengers minifigures found in The Avengers Quinjet Lego set.
Apparently, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is also included as a minifigure! Since he isn’t included in the picture above, I included one below.
This is definitely one of the best, most detailed Lego sets of the year. Does it beat the new Lord of the Rings: Rivendell set? Let me know in the comments whether you would pick this up over Rivendell—it’s a toss-up for me!
