Good News! There are currently two new gift-with-purchases (GWP’s) now available at LEGO.com! This time, the gifts are space-themed (space-theme has been popular this year in Lego’s decision-making). The first set is called Alien Space Diner 40687.

Alien Space Diner 40687
The set, Alien Space Diner 40687, features a small 239-piece restaurant with two classic astronauts as customers (a white astronaut and an orange astronaut), along with a brick-built space alien who acts as a chef, a waiter, and apparently a singer (its multitude of tentacles allows it to multitask, as you can see in the photos).
Included in the build is a spacey diner signpost, a jukebox, a blender, several diner-themed accessories (including milkshakes and a burger), a menu, and a couple small space-related builds, like a UFO and a rocket.
The set is really cool and out of this world—especially if you are a Lego Space or Classic Space fan! If you’re not into this, though, GWP sets like these always make great gifts for kids or other loved ones.
The set, with 239 pieces, measures about 8 in. / 20 cm long, 4 in. / 10 cm wide, and 5 in. / 13 cm tall.
In order to claim this gift you need to spend $100 or more at LEGO.com. This offer will last until May 26th, or until supplies run out.

NASA Mars Rover Perseverance 30682 & Space Hoverbike 30663
The other gift now available is actually a bundle of two polybags, NASA Mars Rover Perseverance 30682 and Space Hoverbike 30663. These ones are smaller, including fewer pieces and only one minifigure between the two. The Mars Rover includes a space astronaut and 46 pieces that create a space-bike, whereas the other polybag includes only a Mars Rover, made with 83 pieces.
This offer ends sooner, actually, on the 21st of May or until supplies run out. This gift can actually only be redeemed if you spend $50 or more at LEGO.com on specific Lego themed products. You must spend the $50 on LEGO City, LEGO Technic, LEGO Friends, or LEGO DREAMZzz in order for this gift bundle to be added to your checkout cart.
And that’s all the Lego news today! Let me know in the comments what you think about these sets! Also, make sure to check out LEGO.com to see all of their other space-themed sets that came out this month. You can also read about them here: Lego May 2024 – Despicable Me, Star Wars, Space.
